the first time i saw bao was in 20xx, the year when thomas and uber cup was held. at that time he was playing against li zongwei, who is also a good player from malaysia. bao beat him. to tell the truth, at first the reason why i liked him was just because i thought he was pretty.*(maybe it is not a suitable word, but i think no better word can describe him, he is really pretty!) from that time, i have focused on him. then gradually, i found that he not only has good appearance, but also has a talent for badminton.
he is very tall, about 1.90 meters. he is the tallest one among all the players in the chinese badminton team. in 20xx, he is chosen as the flag holder stands for china in the opening ceremony in the 15th asian games held in doha. it was the first time that the badminton players were chosen to take over the special task, before which time, it belonged to the basketball players. it was a great honor. and it also proved that bao was an excellent athlete. we are all proud of him.
he began to play badminton when he was at primary school. in 20xx, he won his first good medal, which was significant to him, in guangzhou. because of that, he entered the chinese badminton team. as he is as old as lin dan, who is the top one in the world, he is always put into a situation which is not good to him. he seldom beats lin dan, so he gained a name which is calledsquo;千年老二squo;. in fact, his techniques are comprehensive, but he is lack of passion, the desire to win is not so strong. so he always has misplays. due to this, he seldom wins the gold medal. i think this is related to his character. he is easygoing and couth; he looks as if he will never get angry with anybody. so this affects him while he is playing badminton. in a period of time, critical voice has come towards him. he is under great pressure. he was not in the best state. but recently he cheers up again. several days ago, the chinese badminton championship 20xx was held in guangzhou. i went to see him on saturday. i was very excited, and i shouted loudly, hoping he could hear me. there is no doubt that he won the game. before he went away, he waved hand to us, how excited i was at that time! the next day, he beat li zongwei again and he won the mansquo;s single gold medal. all of us are very happy. after 7 years, which could be a long time for an athlete, he proved himself again in guangzhou, which is considered as his lucky place.

这是抗日名将吉鸿昌临刑前写下的一首气贯长虹的就义诗。下头我就给大家讲讲他的故事。
吉鸿昌18岁加入冯玉祥的队伍，开始戎马生涯，他有胆有谋，作战勇敢，他所率领的部队被称为国民革命军的“铁军”。吉鸿昌不愿替蒋介石打内战，他坚决抗日，尽力为共产党工作。蒋介石恨死了他，把他逮捕了。
吉鸿昌从天津被押到北平。刚一下车，敌人就给他看一份电报，上头写着“立刻处决”四个字，妄图吓唬他，要他投降。吉鸿昌看了，平静地说：“行啊!你们什么时候动手?”
有一次，反动头目何应钦亲自审问，要吉鸿昌招出抗日活动的秘密。吉鸿昌把眼睛一瞪，大声说：“抗日是四万万五千万中国人民的事情，有什么秘密!仅有蒋介石和你们，跟日本勾勾搭搭，尽干些祸 国 殃 民的坏事，才有见不得人的秘密。”何应钦被骂得张口结舌，恼羞成怒。敌人用尽毒刑，把吉鸿昌打得遍体鳞伤。直到临死前一夜，吉鸿昌还在狱中宣传抗日。有人劝他休息一下，他说：“我就要永远‘休息’了，你让我多宣传几句吧!”
就义那一天，吉鸿昌像出门散步一样，从容不迫地出发了，在刑场上，他对特务说：“告诉你们，我为抗日死，可不能跪下挨抢，我死了也不能倒下!”
“你说怎么办呢?”特务们有些害怕了。“给我拿把椅子来，我得坐着死。”
椅子拿来了，吉鸿昌厉声地对那个拿枪的特务说：“我为抗日而死，死得光明正大，不能在背后挨枪。”“那你说怎么办?”那特务浑身发抖地说。
“你在我眼前开枪。我要亲眼看到敌人的子弹是怎样打死我的。”
那特务愣了一下，只好走到前面，发抖地举起枪。吉鸿昌瞪起两只大眼，高呼：“打 倒日本帝国主义!中国共产党万岁!”
枪响了，吉鸿昌同志为革命事业壮烈地献出了自我的生命。可是，他那“死也不倒下”的英雄形象，却永远活在人们的心里。

on my birthday two years ago, many special things happened on me. and i would
remember them forever.
that morning, i rode my bike to school happily as usual. on my way to the
classroom, i saw some of my classmates. but when they saw me, they rushed away. that made me confused. because they would talk to me or play jokes on me before. but it was strange today.
when i came into the classroom, i found the atmosphere was quite strange.
everybody looked at me and laughed loudly. suddenly they all said in good order,happy birthday to you! then they began to sing happy birthday to you~~~~~~ that made me moved. i never told anyone about my birthday, how did they know? i believed they must have done a lot of things. at that moment, i found nothing to say but thanks instead!
after school, a thing coming as a surprise happened on me on my way back home. when i was riding suddenly a crowed of people rushed out to stopped my bike.i recogized them at once. they were my senior classmates. they all comlained to me,why don't you tell us about your birthday? don't you fear that we will let you stand treat? this time you owe us. then each of them gave a gift and a card with best wishes to me. i was deeply moved again. i suggested having a dinner together. but they all refused because of the time. then they left me saying we would ask you to pay us another day!
when i got back home, i thought of everything happened today. suddenly i felt so happy because i had such great friends around me. i thanked them from the bottom of my heart. i would value the precious friendship forever!

“爸爸妈妈，这是你们送给我的生日礼物吗?是从哪弄来的呀?“
爸爸告诉他：“孩子，你明白吗?这宝贵的七颗豆子是你妈妈用鲜血换来的，因为监狱的围墙垮了，特务偷懒，叫犯人去修，说是还有什么squo;奖励squo;，就是打一礅石头换一颗豆子。你妈妈为了给你过生日，她打了七大礅石头，才换来这七颗豆子……”
