十一小长假，我和妈妈一同去了中国科学技术馆，简称科技馆。
我们走进大门，来到了大厅。大厅里有一块庞大的指示牌，上面写着科技馆里每个展厅的名字，分别是华夏之光、探求与发现、科技与生活还有应战与未来。
我们首先走进了华夏之光展厅，它在第一层。那里十分大，成千上万的展品映入视线。我猎奇地看看这个，看看那个，原来这个展厅是用来引见中国古代辉煌成就的。在这千千万万的展品中，我最喜欢的要数应县木塔了。这座位于山西省应县佛宫寺内的塔是世界现存最高的古代木构塔式建筑，还是华北四宝之一呢！九百多年来，它已阅历了十余次地震可还是毫发无损，表现了中国劳动人民聪慧的结晶。
我们分开了华夏之光展厅，去了二层。来到了我最喜欢的展厅——探求与发现。这里比华夏之光展厅大了不少，展品也多了不少。我在这个大厅里东张张西望望，对每一个展品都充溢了猎奇心。我看着看着就来到了一个隧道。我走了进去，发现周围的玻璃墙似乎深千尺！原来，这儿的名字叫：窥视无量，这个名字真形象。忽然，一束紫光照到我身上，把衣着白色裙子的`我变成了“荧光娃娃”。我向前走来到一个周围都是镜子的中央。你往地上看，就会看到一个放着沙发的客厅，而当你向上看的时分，只是一个倒挂着的沙发。你自己像走在你自己的身体上，是不是很奇特呀？在隧道底部，我看见了几条细细的水帘。人们俗话说：水往低处流。可是这水帘的水居然是从低处往高处流！真是太神奇了！
我又旅游了三层的科技与生活、四层的应战与未来。这次旅游科技馆让我体会到了科学的魅力，我爱科学！

我们身边有许多科学现象，平时只要留心观察，就一定能发现它们。一天，我在厨房帮阿姨做饭时，突然一个空盒子从架子上滚落下来，正好掉在一半凸面向上的蛋壳上。我想蛋壳肯定碎了，不料它却完好无损。我非常疑惑，蛋壳不是很脆弱的吗？怎么这次连一条裂纹也没有呢？我决定要自己弄清楚。
我做了个实验：把蛋壳凸面向上放在桌上，让铅笔对准蛋壳，在离蛋壳5至10厘米的空中自然落下，蛋壳完好无损；再把蛋壳反过来，凹面向上，下面垫个小杯子后重复原来的过程，蛋壳就被轻而易举地戳破了。
这是怎么一回事呢？我在图书馆查找资料，终于找到了答案：凸曲面能把外来的力沿着曲面均匀地分散开，使它能受得住较大的压力。蛋壳之所以坚固，完全是因为它的`形状是凸出的。各种穹顶和拱门之所以很坚固，也是由于同样的道理。电灯泡看起来好像很脆弱，实际上却极坚固。这同蛋壳的道理一样。直径10厘米的灯泡所受的压力，在75千克以上，相当于一个成年人的体重。
而在一个夏天的中午，我热得口干舌燥，心想：“要是有杯冰水喝就好了，厨房里应该有水。”走进厨房，果然不出我所料，桌子上放着满满一壶水。我高兴极了，马上把水倒进杯子。一股热气冒出杯口，原来，这是壶开水！
怎样才能让开水迅速凉下来呢？无知的我把水放进冰箱，心想：“待会儿就能喝到冰水了。”
过了几秒钟，只听“砰”地一声，水沿着冰箱缝徐徐流出。我被吓了一大跳，迅速打开冰箱门，冰箱里的水泼洒下来，杯子碎片劈哩啪啦落了一地。我顿时愣住了，好好的杯子怎么会爆呢？通过查阅资料，我知道了杯子爆炸的原因，是热胀冷缩的原理：因为杯子里装的开水使杯子内部受热膨胀，冰箱里的温度又使杯子外部受冷收缩，就这样，杯子内部不断膨胀，外部还是凉的，迟迟不膨胀，杯子就爆了。
