端午节到来的时候，一家人会围坐在一起包粽子，以前我不懂为什么端午节要吃粽子，后来妈妈告诉了我端午节的由来，让我明白了端午节的一些列活动是我国流传了几千年的民间风俗，也是传统文化中的一种。为了继承和弘扬我们的传统文化，我决定：今年向妈妈学习包粽子。
我坐在妈妈的旁边，看她是怎么包粽子的。妈妈首先拿出三张翠绿的芦竹叶子，把它们错开叠放在一起，然后拿住叶子的两端，一转，叶子就围成了一个漏斗的形状了。然后妈妈左手握住漏斗的下部，右手往漏斗里加米，米中间加入一颗蜜枣，最后用筷子压实米粒，再把漏斗上方的叶子盖下来，把多余的叶子拧到旁边，漏斗的顶部就形成了类似于三角的形状，妈妈再把一根棕绳缠在角上，一个可爱的粽子就包好了。看着妈妈熟练的手法，我也学着妈妈的样子包起来。拿着叶子转成漏斗状，可一不小心，叶子就破了，妈妈告诉我要控制好力度，我换了张叶子继续，在漏斗里放上糯米，准备把上方的叶子盖下来，却怎么也盖不住，原来是米放太多了，我赶紧把米弄出去一点，经过一番忙碌之后，我终于包好了一个粽子。虽然看起来没有妈妈做的漂亮，但是这也是我辛苦学习的成果。我又继续包起来，手法也越来越熟练了。

我的家乡是一个安详、平和的小村庄，东西面环山，北面是一片丘陵，而南面则是一条清澈的小河。蜿蜒曲折的小河把小村庄笼在一个摇篮里，十分平静。小河上架着几座低低的小石桥，青石板构成的桥面十分光滑，闪出耀眼的光芒。小河中，几块大大小小的石头嵌在泥沙之中，河水不断冲刷石头平滑的表面。站在年老的石桥边，我的思绪随着小河绿绿的流水流淌而去。
家乡是宁静的。早晨，太阳刚刚露出脸庞，就传来了几声鸡鸣。起床了，出了门，家家户户的屋顶上笼着一层淡淡的薄雾，各家的烟囱中飘出了袅袅炊烟。偶尔看见几只小鸟在争先恐后地啄食，似乎是怕自己的早餐被同伴们抢去。迎着太阳，张开双臂，伸个懒腰，做个深呼吸，我觉得家乡的空气也格外的清新和香甜。
家乡是热闹的。吃过午饭，太阳高挂在头顶。虽然一天中最炎热的时候就是中午，但这丝毫没有减退人们的热情。他们拿着芭蕉扇，坐在树荫或屋檐下。老人们悠闲地坐在一块，或天南地北地聊天，或围着桌子打牌下棋，或躺在椅子上闭目养神。女人们则是干着家务活，掐麦芽、择蔬菜或是打毛线衣。孩子们是最惬意的，他们拿出草帘子来，或坐或躺或卧，整个天空都飘着孩子们幸福的欢笑声。
